FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Divisions? Any school-age child can participate in one of four
divisions: Division 1 (grades 1-2 and younger), Division 2 (grades
3-5), Division III (6-8 grades), and Division 4 (9-12 grades).
Participants can play up to a higher division but cannot play down
to a division of a younger age. Divisions based on grade last
completed.
Format? (Same as Lads 2 Leaders/Leaderettes) Each question has
four choices (three for divisions 1-2). The question will appear on
the projection screens, be read twice, and when prompted (after
5 seconds) the participants will be asked to hold up a card with
the letter “A, B, C, or D” on it. The panels will no longer be used as
in the past. 10 questions per round. Four team members can play
per round (no subs during the round).
Questions? The format of the Bible Bowl will primarily not be
based on the Lads to Leaders questions but will cover the same
material. Question booklets are available through the Goodwood
church office. NOTE: This should not be a major area of concern
given that the questions are very similar & cover the same
material.
Registration? Churches can register online at
www.goodwoodchurch.org or by contacting the church office at
(225)272-8936.
Housing? Housing for out-of-town groups is available by request
at no charge.
Meals? Lunch will be provided on Saturday at no charge.
Awards? Prizes will be awarded to top-placing individual scorers
and also first, second, and third-place teams for each division. It
will be stressed that every participant is a winner for being willing
to devote time studying God’s Word.
