Southington Police<br />
have arrested an Avon man<br />
in connection with a late<br />
May accident that sent a<br />
woman to the hospital with<br />
serious physical injuries.<br />
Police arrested David G.<br />
Fay, 36, of Avon on Friday,<br />
<strong>August</strong> 9. He was charged<br />
with second degree assault<br />
with a motor vehicle, operating<br />
a motor vehicle while<br />
under the influence of alcohol<br />
and evading responsibility.<br />
Fay was held on a<br />
$100,000 bond with an Aug.<br />
19 court date.<br />

Flannigan, 22, of East Windsor<br />
and a 17-year-old juvenile<br />
from Southington. All three<br />
were charged with having<br />
alcohol/being intoxicated in a<br />

to take Haddock into custody,<br />
he refused to be placed<br />
and handcuffs and struggled<br />
with officers, ripping<br />
of an investigation into a<br />
motor vehicle accident that<br />
occurred the evening of May<br />
24 in front of the<br />

on North Main Street.<br />
According to the police<br />
investigation, Fay was operating<br />
a 2005 Honda Accord<br />
traveling north on North<br />
Main Street, when he failed<br />
to negotiate in the roadway<br />
and was involved in a head<br />
on collision.<br />

to the hospital for<br />
treatment of serious physical<br />
injuries and is still recovering.<br />
