charged on Aug. 8 with
breach of peace. Bond was

court date.

on Aug. 8 with breach of

Jessica Shover, 28, of

on Aug. 6 with third degree
larceny. Bond was set at

Peter R. Josenhans, 49,

leads to fight with police
A complaint at Crescent
Lake led to two men and a
minor being charged with
being intoxicated in a public
park.
On Sunday, Aug. 11,
police received a complaint
that people were consuming
alcohol and throwing bottles
in the town park.
After arriving at the lake,
police found Ryan Haddock,
Avon man arrested for May
accident on North Main Street
Southington Police
have arrested an Avon man
in connection with a late
May accident that sent a
woman to the hospital with
serious physical injuries.
Police arrested David G.
Fay, 36, of Avon on Friday,
August 9. He was charged
with second degree assault
with a motor vehicle, operating
a motor vehicle while
under the influence of alcohol
and evading responsibility.
Fay was held on a
$100,000 bond with an Aug.
19 court date.
The arrest is the result

Flannigan, 22, of East Windsor
and a 17-year-old juvenile
from Southington. All three
were charged with having
alcohol/being intoxicated in a
public park.
As officers were trying
to take Haddock into custody,
he refused to be placed
and handcuffs and struggled
with officers, ripping
of an investigation into a
motor vehicle accident that
occurred the evening of May
24 in front of the
Southington
Fire
Department Headquarters
on North Main Street.
According to the police
investigation, Fay was operating
a 2005 Honda Accord
traveling north on North
Main Street, when he failed
to negotiate in the roadway
and was involved in a head
on collision.
Fay’s vehicle struck a
1994 Chevrolet Camaro,
operated by Ellen Tomczak

scene, Fay was transported
to the hospital for treatment.
On the night of the accident
Tomczak was transported
to the hospital for
treatment of serious physical
injuries and is still recovering.
