1. Having a broken wrist can make life pretty difficult. The white plaster cast may help
bones heal, but it is heavy and scratchy. It weighs down my hand, which now swings
like a pendulum at my side. My fingers peek through rounded holes in the plaster and
brother to the curb to choose a red, white, and blue icy treat.
3. The roller coaster was not just fast; it was exhilarating! The wind whipped through
our hair and slapped our faces. We could see the horizon coming up to meet us at an
4. It isn’t right to kill geese just because they inconvenience people. It is true that more
causing problems. For example, the geese can cause plane crashes by flying into
airplanes. However, killing the geese is not the only solution to these problems.
Experts say that geese love to eat well-tended grass. An easy solution, therefore,
would be to let lawns grow wild, fence off nesting areas, and use scarecrows. These
techniques have proved successful in making geese less likely to nest.
