REDUNDANT ARCHITECTURE
The redundant modular design features
both hot-pluggable RF power modules
and power supply modules with high
quality blind mate connectors. Dual lowvoltage
power supplies, IPAs and digital
exciters with automatic changeover
are also available. The cooling air for
the system is supplied by dedicated DC
powered fans for each module, and
even these fans are on-air serviceable.
BROADBAND DESIGN
The V Series transmitters share a
complete linear broadband design
ideal for all N+1 configurations. An
integral M50 digital exciter selects
the required presets to define the
operating frequency and output
power level making these transmitters
completely adaptable.
OPERATING CONVENIENCE
The V Series graphical user interface and
soft-keys give you simple menu control
of operating modes. Six independent
presets are available for operating levels,
operational mode and frequency. An
LED diagnostic status flow diagram
continually monitors the system, and
the advanced controls. An alarm and
100-event time-stamped logging system
allow service personnel to easily identify
operational status.
EASE OF INSTALLATION
Nautel transmitters are shipped as a
complete unit with all modules installed
ready for plug and play installation.
Simple link selection allows AC input
from 180 - 264 vac in three phase
or single phase or 312 - 457 vac
three phase.

FM ANALOG SUPERIORITY
The V Series transmitters utilize the M50
direct-to-channel digital modulation,
eliminating microphonics or spurious
outputs. Advanced digital signal
processing and field programmable gate
array technologies produce superior
signal reproduction. The M50 offers
built-in DSP stereo generators, SCA
generators and a RBDS/RDS coder to
complete the functionality list.

Powerful, AGILE AND EFFICIENT
V10 10kW FM Transmitter
The standard rack configurations of the V Series transmitters allow
for fully redundant operation ensuring maximum power is maintained
during emergency conditions. Redundant modules can be removed
while the transmitter is still operating, greatly reducing downtime during
troubleshooting and maintenance.
The V Series transmitters were designed with the operating technician
in mind. With the comprehensive display-based user interface, system
configuration is a breeze. A 100-events log with information detailed at
the repairable module level further reduces troubleshooting time.
The V Series transmitters are capable of conventional high fidelity
analog FM service. They are frequency agile and require no tuning for
operation between 87.5 MHz and 108 MHz – an ideal choice for N+1
or multi-station operations.

Nautel’s 1kW V1 offers V series performance and
reliability in an extremely compact and affordable
package. When combined with the M50 digital
exciter, a complete 1kW transmitter solution takes up
only 6 rack units. To ensure that you stay on the air,
the V1 design uses 4 parallel wideband amplifiers.
While the V1 may be small, it offers full size V Series
features including an intuitive graphical user interface,
outstanding efficiency and support for adaptive precorrection
and NxLink remote management.
V15/V20/V30/V40
Combined System
Versatility
Nautel’s V15, V20, V30 and V40 transmitters offer the
utmost in redundancy and flexibility while simplifying
combined-system installations. Based on the field proven
V5 and V10 transmitters, these combined transmitter
solutions allow you to achieve your required power
output while retaining the management simplicity of
a single transmitter. With Nautel’s industry-leading

easy remote monitoring and control from
virtually anywhere. Users can access status,
controls, alarms, logs and reports via
internet enabled computers or with IPready
smartphone devices. No matter
where you are, you’re only moments
away from ensuring your V Series
transmitter is operating correctly. Pull up a
web browser, enter your transmitter’s IP address,
and you’re connected. Screens are easy to set up
and read, and clearly display the parameters you need
to see. NXLink operation is supported on all Nautel
V Series transmitters.
