Each of the questions, respectively correct answers, related to the Risk
Assessment Procedure is of great importance for reducing the threat of loses
and/or damages of the:
v human lives and health;
v natural and industrial resources, incl. arable land and biodiversity;
v material goods, incl. industrial facilities, infrastructure, human settlements, etc.
This is why the detailed knowledge about potential sources of risks from industrial
accidents makes possible planning actions of both prevention and mitigation of the
accidents consequences.
The present report is based on data kindly granted mostly by the Executive
Environmental Agency (EEA, Sofia) and West Aegean River Basin Directorate
(WABD, Blagoevgrad).
This presentation will offer to your kind attention a general picture of risky activities
in the industrial sector as follows from the title and content of the current project.
