Entry Criteria<br />
<strong>The</strong> <strong>IPC</strong> <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Magazine</strong> <strong>Planning</strong> <strong>Awards</strong> recognise and promote excellence in magazine<br />
planning and execution.<br />
Open to all media planners, buyers and clients the <strong>IPC</strong> <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Magazine</strong> <strong>Planning</strong> <strong>Awards</strong> are a<br />
terrific opportunity to showcase your strategic and / or tactical skill in planning and buying<br />
consumer magazines - both off and online.<br />
<strong>The</strong>re are six award categories,<br />
Best magazine campaign under £250,000<br />
Best magazine campaign over £250,000<br />
Best innovation in a magazine campaign<br />
Best use of magazines in a multi-media campaign<br />
Best use of consumer insight in a magazine or multi-media campaign<br />
Best use of online magazines<br />
Entry Process : To submit a <strong>2009</strong> award entry please follow the process below,<br />
• Select your campaign(s) and award category(ies).<br />
• Compose your submission in Word or PowerPoint giving full credit to how your insight,<br />
strategy, implementation and results answered your client’s advertising challenge.<br />
• We recommend no more than 1100 words of concise explanation in your main text. You may<br />
append further supportive information.<br />
• Include a front sheet detailing Entry category, Brand/Campaign name, your Name, Job Title,<br />
Company, E–mail address and phone number. Please repeat for joint entrants.<br />
• Any submission may be entered into multiple categories.<br />
• e-mail your submissions by close of business on Tuesday 31st March <strong>2009</strong> to<br />
katy_watkins@ipcmedia.com. Please note <strong>IPC</strong> <strong>Media</strong> have a 10 MB e-mail receipt limit.

Entry Criteria<br />
Campaign Criteria<br />
Open to all UK advertising and media agencies and clients.<br />
Campaign(s) to have run, at least in part, in calendar year 2008.<br />
All categories are open to print and / or digital consumer magazine brands.<br />
<strong>The</strong>re is no requirement for campaign(s) to have used <strong>IPC</strong> <strong>Media</strong> titles.<br />
Entry Deadline<br />
Close of business Tuesday 31st March <strong>2009</strong><br />
Judging<br />
Judging will be carried out by a panel of experts from leading media agencies, media owners<br />
and clients. Details tbc<br />
Prizes<br />
Winners will be announced at a prize giving event to be held at the Tate Modern Galleries.<br />
Date tbc<br />
Each campaign winner will receive £500. In addition, a Grand Prix winner will be selected from<br />
the six category winners and receive a further £500.<br />
