Training Weekend
- Our future, nuclear-weapon free -
1st - 5th October 2009
Between 1st and 5th October, 2009, an
international NWIP training weekend
will take place in Aachen, Germany.
Over four days we will introduce you into the
project, and you will get to know the critical facts
about nuclear weapons and nuclear weapons
policy.
There will be workshops on dialogue techniques,
about how to arrange a workshop and how to
start a campaign.
You will also get the chance to learn about the
current global situation on these important issues.
We will discuss future projects and actions within
the NWIP, especially our plans for the NPT
Review Conference in New York 2010.
You will get the chance to become active within
the NWIP, to socialise with interested people,
build up networks and to get new ideas and
inspiration.
The training is suitable for all who:
• want to gain more knowledge about
nuclear weapons
• want to prepare for Dialogues with
Decision-Makers
• want to start a campaign or action on a
local/regional/international level
• want to launch an NWIP chapter in their
country
• want to become active within the NWIP,
including the chance to travel to Nuclear
Weapons States for student dialogues
• want to get some inspiration for their
disarmament work
