Level: 8 – From: 8 – Wednesday, December 19, 2007 – 9:32 pm – mac8 – 3894 Section 08 : 3894 Section 08 GENERAL INFORMATION It is expected that each Class of Notes which is to be admitted to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange will be admitted separately as and when issued, subject only to the issue of a Global Note initially representing the Notes of such Class. The listing of the Programme in respect of the Notes was granted on or about 29 March 2006. The issue of the Notes was authorised by a resolution of the Board of Directors of the Issuer dated on or about 18 December 2007. There are no governmental, legal or arbitration proceedings (including any such proceedings which are pending or threatened of which the Issuer is aware) which may have or have had during the previous 12 months a significant effect on the financial position or profitability of the Issuer. Save as disclosed in this Supplement, there has been no material adverse change in the financial position or prospects of the Issuer since 31 December 2006. The non-consolidated annual financial statements of the Issuer for the year ended 31 December 2006, incorporated by reference, have been audited by Deloitte & Touche LLP, chartered accountants and registered auditors. Deloitte & Touche LLP is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
