The block diagram <strong>of</strong> the model simulating scenario 2 is shown in Figure 8 <strong>and</strong><br />
the simulation results are shown in Table 6. The blocks <strong>and</strong> parameters are the<br />
same as in the simulation model <strong>of</strong> scenario 1, with the only differences being the<br />
OC-12 service times in all paths, <strong>and</strong> the appropriate probability value, calculated<br />
by equation (3), for the error blocks in the satellite links.<br />
