INTENT TO ENTER:<br />
Most federations have still not submitted an online Intent to Enter Form. In accordance with<br />
IWSF Rule 2.05 this entry form must be submitted no later than June 2, 2009 (to avoid an IWSF<br />
late entry fee). Championship organizers have established an online registration system to<br />
collect this Intent to Enter information.<br />

<strong>Federation</strong>’s online Intent to Enter Form as soon as possible.<br />
DEFINITIVE ENTRY FORM:<br />
In accordance with IWSF Rule 2.05 each <strong>Federation</strong> must also submit a completed Definitive<br />
Entry Form no later than July 24, 2009. The preferred method for submitting this form is via the<br />
online system. Please visit https://viewteam.viewpointtech.com/World<strong>Water</strong>ski2009_par.<br />
Once you sign in, you will be able to enter your federation’s definitive entry details.<br />
A hard copy of the form is included with this Bulletin. A secondary way of submitting the<br />
Definitive Entry Form is with a hard copy via email or fax. See form for instructions.<br />
ENTRY FEE PAYMENT:<br />
Once a <strong>Federation</strong> has submitted its Definitive Entry Form, please follow the link below to<br />
make payment by July 24 of entry fees for each team and independent skier of your<br />
<strong>Federation</strong>. The established entry fee is $200.00 USD per skier, which converts to a fee of<br />
$237.00 CAD after exchange rate. The online system provides for VISA, MasterCard or<br />

A practice schedule will be determined based on the entries received prior to the June 02<br />
“Intent to Enter” deadline. This schedule will be made available by June 12, 2009. Time will<br />
be allocated on a per skier basis and availability will be subject to the needs of the<br />
Homologator and his team on Saturday, August 1, Sunday, August 2, and Monday, August 3.<br />
The cost for each ski set will be CAD $50.00. Each set will be limited to 10 minutes per skier or<br />
4 slalom passes, 2 trick passes, or 2 jumps. All late entries will be considered for practice, but<br />
without any guarantee of availability.<br />

CURRENCY:<br />
The currency in Canada is the Canadian dollar ($ CAD). $ US dollars are also widely<br />
accepted, though not at a preferential rate by vendors compared to exchanging at a<br />
financial institution. Travellers are advised to bring $CAD as the first priority. Second priority is<br />
to bring $ US dollars, which are then exchanged for $ CAD dollars at any financial institution.<br />
All major credit cards are widely accepted.<br />
DEPARTURE TAXES/AIRPORT FEES:<br />
No separate fees are payable upon departure. Such fees are typically added to airline<br />
tickets and paid for at time of ticketing.<br />
OFFICIAL HOTEL:<br />
A limited number of rooms remain available at the official hotel. The official hotel is the Delta<br />
South Calgary. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the ski site. Organizers have negotiated<br />
special rates for skiers, <strong>Federation</strong>s, and supporters. Rates include a full hot breakfast and<br />
free parking. All rooms have internet access. The event transportation system will shuttle<br />
participants to and from the Official Hotel only. There are a limited number of rooms<br />
available, and are to be booked directly with the hotel on a first come, first served basis,<br />
using the special booking code: WWC09. Appointed Officials, IWSF Board members, Hall of<br />
Fame inductees will be provided with a separate booking code.<br />

and spectators must purchase tickets.<br />
