1.Individual Report of a local school board meeting. 50

2. Group Presentation on one of the required texts for the class
and small assignment group work.
3. Individual attendance and participation including
a minimum of five e-mail listserve entries and regular reactions to
class readings in written and oral form.

4. 3 Comparative book reviews (7 pages each); for each review,
you will compare and contrast two of the different books that will
have been read during the course of the term.. Two can be rewritten 600
points
for a higher grade.
5. Group project/class simulation. 75 points
6. In-class midterm essay examination based upon class readings and
