bill clients <strong>for</strong> the services provided.<br />

Contributions are encouraged, and gratefully<br />

appreciated. We use contributions to maintain<br />

and expand the legal service program so that<br />

legal assistance will continue to be available <strong>for</strong><br />

<strong>Johnson</strong> <strong>County</strong> senior citizens.<br />

WHO ARE WE?<br />

<strong>Kansas</strong> <strong>Legal</strong> <strong>Services</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Older</strong> <strong>Adults</strong> is a<br />

project of <strong>Kansas</strong> <strong>Legal</strong> <strong>Services</strong>, Inc., a private,<br />

non-profit <strong>Kansas</strong> corporation. The National<br />

<strong>Legal</strong> <strong>Services</strong> Corporation, the <strong>Older</strong> Americans<br />

Act, the <strong>Kansas</strong> Department of Aging and private<br />

contributions provide the project’s funding.<br />

<strong>Kansas</strong> <strong>Legal</strong> <strong>Services</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Older</strong> <strong>Adults</strong> is a<br />

<strong>Johnson</strong> <strong>County</strong> Area Agency on Aging service<br />

provider.<br />

WHOM DO WE SERVE?<br />

To be eligible <strong>for</strong> our services, a client must live<br />

in <strong>Johnson</strong> <strong>County</strong>, <strong>Kansas</strong>, and be age 60 or<br />

older.<br />

<strong>Kansas</strong> <strong>Legal</strong> <strong>Services</strong> does not discriminate on<br />

not represent persons charged with criminal or<br />

traffic cases, nor do we represent persons in feegenerating<br />

or contingency fee cases.<br />

resources and prioritization of need, <strong>Kansas</strong><br />

<strong>Legal</strong> <strong>Services</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Older</strong> <strong>Adults</strong> is not able to<br />

offer assistance in every type of case.<br />
