John Preston Healthcare is a sixth 

generation family business which celebrated 166 

years in business in 2012. Supplying industry leading 

products and services to Healthcare Professionals 

for a number of years, the company has a showroom 

in Lisburn, Northern Ireland however we service 

the entire island of Ireland and have extended our 

services to the UK and recently Europe. 

Fast Aid Medical & Mobility, 

incorporating Anderson Medical & Mobility and Fast 

Aid Products, has been trading for over 35 years. 

The company has staff located in East and West 

Scotland and our core business includes the supply 

of acute care equipment, medical and nursing care 

consumables. 

In 2011, both companies came together to form a 

Healthcare Group to extend our current reach and 

product portfolio. Product Specialists are available 

at both sites and regularly perform joint assessments 

with medical professionals for homecare and mobility 

products. A complete aftersales service with training, 

repairs and maintenance is carried out by our 

specialist staff. 

Both sites have large distribution centres and supply, 

on contract, to many of the local councils, nursing 

homes, the NHS supply chain and local Housing 

Executives. Customers include the Scottish National 

Health Service, the Health Service Executive in the 

Republic of Ireland and the Northern Ireland Health 

and Social Care Trust. 

Our online store was established in 2012 and contains 

over 1000 products. Our online product range 

includes electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters, 

lightweight wheelchairs, daily living aids, bathing and 

toileting aids, moving and handling and pressure care 

products. We offer a nationwide service in the UK, 

Republic of Ireland and many European countries.

Configura Riser Recliner 

The Configura Riser Recliner chair is a highly configurable, electric rise and 

recline armchair. Its modular design enables the therapist to prescribe 

a bespoke system without the expense of a traditional made to measure 

system. In addition, it can be easily modified if the user’s needs change with 

interchangeable backrest cushions, lateral supports and pressure relieving 

modules. The seat height and depth, leg rest laterals and armrest height are all

CUSHIONS 

Tempur-Med Wheelchair 

Cushion 

The Tempur material is a visco-elastic, 

temperature sensitive open cell material 

which has unique pressure relieving 

qualities. It is composed of billions of 

visco-elastic spherical shaped open cells. 

The cells respond to body temperature 

and weight then shift and reorganise their 

position to mould to the exact contours 

of the patients body. Tempur-Med 

wheelchair cushions combine pressure 

care with a high degree of comfort. They 

mould to the body to accommodate 

postural problems, are easy to clean,

JAY Cushions

Vicair Cushions 

The clinically proven Vicair cushion range 

offers a unique and innovative approach 

to support. Each cushion contains 

hundreds of SoftCells which are small 

air filled pyramid shaped cells contained 

in strategically placed compartments of 

the cushion. These flexible, fabric coated 

cells have a low friction level when in 

contact with each other, thus continuously 

adapting and conforming to the body’s

Varilite Pressure 

Relieving Products 

Varilite Technology utilises the best 

characteristics of foam and air to create 

dynamically supportive cushions. The 

valve releases air to immerse the user in 

the foam and optimal pressure distribution

ROHO Cushions 

Roho cushions are made of small individual

The Aegis Extendable Bariatric Bed is a dual functioning product. On the one hand 

this bed can be used as a bariatric bed on the other hand if there are no bariatric
