Bring People Back to Church with your Faith and Prayers During this time of preparation for Christmas, our Parish Family is asked to focus on those people who have been away from the Church for various reasons. Through the power of prayer, let’s together bring them back. This prayer has been prayed at Mass throughout the Season of Advent. You too are asked to pray this prayer daily. RETURN TO ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART! FAITH PRAYER Loving God, You call us by name and ask us each day to follow You. Through Baptism, You welcome us into Your Family, the Church. Lord, help all people of our Parish to heed Your call and, if needed, to return to Your House. May we all be Your holy and dedicated followers, who serve others and You daily with courage, perseverance and love. We ask this through Christ, Our Lord. Amen. Donations for St. Francis Inn Our Sixth Grade Class is preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on April 5, 2014. Part of their preparation for this Sacrament is Service Hours. A project selected involves St. Francis Inn in the Kensington area of the city. St. Francis Inn has been helping the poor of Philadelphia for years. The class will be collecting men’s socks and blankets, much needed items during this time of year. And you are invited to help! When you are out and about shopping this holiday season and can afford to buy an extra pack of socks or a blanket from wherever you shop, please think of the people that your gift will help keep warm. Your donations may be brought to the Main Entrance of Church. Boxes are set up for your convenience. 090 Maternity BVM 4 Helping Other Parishioners in Emergencies For help during the week of December 23, call Mary Ellen Strohm, 215-969-2194, Anne Thomas, 215-742-4956, or Lillian Volpe, 215-676-5064. Beginning on Sunday, January 12, during 9:30 AM Mass, Little Church School will be held in the Lower Level of the Convent. Children ages 3, 4 and 5 years old are invited to attend.
