A Message from H.O.P.E.<br />
Due to the merging of <strong>St</strong>. Alice with<br />
<strong>St</strong>. <strong>Laurence</strong> Parish some of our needs are<br />
increasing. We are hoping to reform the H.O.P.E.<br />
Program to include new members of <strong>St</strong>. Alice who<br />
could volunteer to take parishioners to Mass at <strong>St</strong>.<br />
<strong>Laurence</strong> on Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings<br />
with them. This becomes necessary because the<br />
English mass at <strong>St</strong>. Alice church is being<br />
discontinued starting in December. We are grateful<br />
for all the help. We would appreciate if the older<br />
members of <strong>St</strong>. Alice that have no way to get to<br />
Mass on Sundays would call Sister Teresa at 610-<br />
449-0600, ext. 216 and give your name and phone<br />
number. We will try to get help for you<br />
to come to Mass.<br />

A Beef and Beer will be held on Sunday, January<br />
12, 2014, from 2 to 6pm at Tip O’Leary’s, 300<br />
West Chester Pike, Havertown, next to Kohl’s,<br />
for Peggy Murphy Sheeler who has been fighting<br />
cancer. The cost is $30.00 and includes roast beef<br />
sandwiches, pork sandwiches, a variety of finger<br />
foods, beer, wine, desserts, and music provided by<br />
Loaded and Tommy Tunes. All proceeds will go to<br />
the Prayers for Peggy foundation.<br />
