3 Q. Got you. When the plumbing company had you do a
4 search, did they only search one person?
5 A. No. They had a few employees. Just whenever
6 they would have one, they would send over a form.
7 Q. So it was a company that used your business to do
8 those types of searches?
9 A. Yes.
10 Q. Let me ask you a hypothetical question. If you
11 were given the information that is contained on the form
12 that your business uses concerning Mesa Kasem and in that
13 form you learned that he had lived in the county where he
14 was residing at the time he filled out the form for two
15 weeks but that he had grown up and spent most of his life
16 in San Joaquin County and you were going to do the
17 customary background search that you described you'd
18 charge $150 generally for, which included other criminal
19 search, would you have discovered that he had a felony
20 conviction in San Joaquin County?
