NOTIFICATION<br />
The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable<br />
on the basis of the result of the Objective Type Test (OMR) held on<br />
10.07.2009 and the verification of original documents of candidates included<br />
in the probability list published on 16.11.2010 for the post of Overseer<br />
Grade III on Rs. 5510-8590 (PR) in Panchayat Department in <strong>Thrissur</strong><br />
<strong>District</strong>, arranged in the order of merit. The ranked list is published on the<br />
basis of the Gazette Notification for the post dated 28.12.2007 as Category<br />
No. 500/2007. The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from<br />
25.06.2011. The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked<br />
List for the post after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of<br />
three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for<br />
appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and<br />
rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to<br />
the <strong>Commission</strong> during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment<br />
depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all the candidates<br />
included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at<br />
the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the<br />
inclusion of their names in the list.<br />
According to the existing procedure, revaluation of answer script is not allowed.<br />
But rechecking of marks will be done on payment of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) in any<br />
one of the treasuries in the state under the Head of Account “0051 PSC 105 STATE<br />
PSC 99 EXAMINATION FEE”. The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any<br />
account. The result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidate from this<br />
office. Application for rechecking of answer script should be submitted in the<br />
prescribed form available free of cost from the Enquiry Section of the various offices<br />
of the <strong>Commission</strong> or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from<br />
the <strong>Commission</strong>’s website www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from.<br />
Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered. The application<br />
for rechecking along with the original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee addressed<br />
to the <strong>District</strong> Officer, KPSC <strong>District</strong> Office, SC/ST Development Corporation<br />
Building, IInd Floor, Opp. Town Hall, City Post Office, Chembukavu, <strong>Thrissur</strong><br />
- 20 should reach this office within 45 days from the date of publication of the Ranked<br />
List by the PSC (i.e. the date on which the Ranked List has been approved by the<br />
<strong>Commission</strong>). Application for rechecking received after the prescribed time limit will<br />

not be entertained. The last date for receipt of application for rechecking/obtaining<br />
photocopy of the answerscript is 09.08.2011.<br />
Candidates who wish to obtain the photo copy of the answer sheet have to<br />
remit a prescribed fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) which shall be remitted<br />
in any one of the Treasuries in the state which is to be credited to the Head of<br />
Account “0051-PSC-800 Other receipts-99-Other receipts” and the original chalan<br />
receipt should be attached with the application. The copy of the OMR sheet will be<br />
given only once and copy of both “A” Part and “B” part will be given. The photo copy<br />
will be sent by Registered post to the applicant. Candidate will be given the copy of<br />
their own answer script only and if it is proved that application has been given to get<br />
the copy of other candidates answer script legal action will be initiated against the<br />
applicant. The application to obtain the photo copy of OMR answerscript should reach<br />
this office within 45 days from the date of publication of Ranked list. Copies of OMR<br />
Sheet invalidated due to any defect will not be issued.<br />
Entries put in column (8) are based on the communities specified by the<br />
candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents.<br />
The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted in the list as<br />
proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the <strong>District</strong> Officer,<br />
KPSC <strong>District</strong> Office, <strong>Thrissur</strong> within one month from the date of publication of the list,<br />
to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of<br />
timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates will be advised as<br />
incorporated in the list.<br />
All the candidates who have secured 59 (Fifty Nine) marks and above in the<br />
OMR Test held on 10.07.2009 and who have appeared with necessary documents for<br />
the verification of Original Certificates have been included in the Ranked List. The<br />
marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates included in<br />
the Supplementary Lists.<br />
