Sika ® -Primer 206 is a black,
moisture-sensitive liquid
designed to improve adhesion
of Sikaflex ® products.

Where to Use:
Sika ® -Primer 206 G+P Sika
Primer-206 G+P is a general
purpose primer which is used to
improve adhesion to:
Glass
FRP
ABS
Plastics
Aluminum
Steel
Polyurethane
Paints
Because paints and plastics
vary in their chemical composition,
preliminary trials are
necessary.
In general direct glazing
applications, Sika Primer 206
G+P is not intended to be used
as the sole form of UV
protection.
How to Use:
Substrate must be clean, dry,
free of oil and grease and of
sound quality. Thoroughly
remove all loose particles and
residues.
250ml bottle:
Shake well before use. Mixer
ball should agitate freely. Apply
Sika ® -Primer 206 G+P in a thin
layer using a brush. Allow to dry
10 minutes but not more than 2
hours before applying adhesive.
Sika ® Primer-206 Stix:
Shake individual Stix vigorously
prior to use for a minimum of 30
seconds. Point tip toward the
ground and pinch tube just above
the tip with thumb and forefinger
to break the internal vial and
release primer into the tip. With
tip down, gently squeeze the tube
to wet out the tip being careful not

to squeeze too hard creating a
drip. When the tip is fully saturated,
begin priming the pinchweld
immediately. Allow to dry 10
minutes but not more than 2 hours
before applying adhesive.
Note: Sika ® -Primer 206 G+P
may be applied below 40 o F;
however, required drying time will
exceed 10 minutes.
Important Considerations:
Do not use 250ml bottle if primer
is gelled or Stix if they are beyond
expiration.
Contact with alcohol will inhibit
cure.
Limitations:
Do not apply on frozen
surfaces or through
standing water.
Do not apply over silicones
or in the presence of curing
silicones.
Not recommended as a
primary UV barrier for
marine or other nonautomotive
applications.

CAUTION:
FLAMMABLE; IRRITANT;
SENSITIZER: Contains isocyanates. Respiratory
- may cause respiratory tract irritation
and/or sensitization, avoid breathing
vapors. Skin - may cause skin irritation,
prolonged or repeated contact may cause
skin sensitization. Eye - irritant.
Clean Up:
Wear suitable protective equipment, extinguish
all sources of ignition. Contain spill
and collect with absorbent material and
transfer into suitable containers. Avoid
contact, keep spills away from sewers and
open bodies of water.
First Aid:
Respiratory - remove person to fresh air. If
breathing has stopped, institute artificial
respiration. Skin - wash thoroughly with
soap and water, remove contaminated clothing.
Eye - rinse with water for at least 15
minutes, contact physician.
LIMITED WARRANTY: SIKA warrants this product for one year from date of installation to be free from manufacturing defects and to meet the
technical properties on the current Technical Data Sheet if used as directed within shelf life. User determines suitability of product for intended
use and assumes all risks. Buyer’s sole remedy shall be limited to the purchase price or replacement of product exclusive of labor or cost of labor.
