<strong>Sika</strong> ® -<strong>Primer</strong> <strong>206</strong> <strong>G+P</strong> <strong>Sika</strong><br />

<strong>Primer</strong>-<strong>206</strong> <strong>G+P</strong> is a general<br />

purpose primer which is used to<br />

improve adhesion to:<br />

Glass<br />

FRP<br />

ABS<br />

Plastics<br />

Aluminum<br />

Steel<br />

Polyurethane<br />

Paints<br />

Because paints and plastics<br />

vary in their chemical <strong>com</strong>position,<br />

preliminary trials are<br />

necessary.<br />

In general direct glazing<br />

applications, <strong>Sika</strong> <strong>Primer</strong> <strong>206</strong><br />

<strong>G+P</strong> is not intended to be used<br />

as the sole form of UV<br />

protection.<br />

How to Use:<br />

Substrate must be clean, dry,<br />

free of oil and grease and of<br />

sound quality. Thoroughly<br />

remove all loose particles and<br />

residues.<br />

250ml bottle:<br />

Shake well before use. Mixer<br />

ball should agitate freely. Apply<br />

<strong>Sika</strong> ® -<strong>Primer</strong> <strong>206</strong> <strong>G+P</strong> in a thin<br />

layer using a brush. Allow to dry<br />

10 minutes but not more than 2<br />

hours before applying adhesive.<br />

<strong>Sika</strong> ® <strong>Primer</strong>-<strong>206</strong> Stix:<br />

Shake individual Stix vigorously<br />

prior to use for a minimum of 30<br />

seconds. Point tip toward the<br />

ground and pinch tube just above<br />

the tip with thumb and forefinger<br />

to break the internal vial and<br />

release primer into the tip. With<br />

tip down, gently squeeze the tube<br />

to wet out the tip being careful not<br />

to squeeze too hard creating a<br />

drip. When the tip is fully saturated,<br />

begin priming the pinchweld<br />

immediately. Allow to dry 10<br />

minutes but not more than 2 hours<br />

before applying adhesive.<br />

Note: <strong>Sika</strong> ® -<strong>Primer</strong> <strong>206</strong> <strong>G+P</strong><br />

may be applied below 40 o F;<br />

however, required drying time will<br />

exceed 10 minutes.<br />

Important Considerations:<br />

Do not use 250ml bottle if primer<br />

is gelled or Stix if they are beyond<br />

expiration.<br />

Contact with alcohol will inhibit<br />

cure.<br />

Limitations:<br />

Do not apply on frozen<br />

surfaces or through<br />

standing water.<br />

Do not apply over silicones<br />

or in the presence of curing<br />

silicones.<br />

Not re<strong>com</strong>mended as a<br />

primary UV barrier for<br />

marine or other nonautomotive<br />

applications.<br />

CAUTION:<br />

FLAMMABLE; IRRITANT;<br />

SENSITIZER: Contains isocyanates. Respiratory<br />

- may cause respiratory tract irritation<br />

and/or sensitization, avoid breathing<br />

vapors. Skin - may cause skin irritation,<br />

prolonged or repeated contact may cause<br />

skin sensitization. Eye - irritant.<br />

Clean Up:<br />

Wear suitable protective equipment, extinguish<br />

all sources of ignition. Contain spill<br />

and collect with absorbent material and<br />

transfer into suitable containers. Avoid<br />

contact, keep spills away from sewers and<br />

open bodies of water.<br />

First Aid:<br />

Respiratory - remove person to fresh air. If<br />

breathing has stopped, institute artificial<br />

respiration. Skin - wash thoroughly with<br />

soap and water, remove contaminated clothing.<br />

Eye - rinse with water for at least 15<br />

minutes, contact physician.<br />

LIMITED WARRANTY: SIKA warrants this product for one year from date of installation to be free from manufacturing defects and to meet the<br />

technical properties on the current Technical Data Sheet if used as directed within shelf life. User determines suitability of product for intended<br />

use and assumes all risks. Buyer’s sole remedy shall be limited to the purchase price or replacement of product exclusive of labor or cost of labor.<br />
