The Order’s VIP Club
We all know how important
new members are to
the Order. It’s no secret
new members enable the Knights
of Columbus to prosper throughout
the world. New members
mean new experiences, new ideas
and new possibilities for your
council. New members will carry
down the teachings and memories
of older members, keeping the
past and preserving the experiences
of members long gone. For
all Knights who want to enjoy the
“Experience of a Lifetime,” gathering
new members is a significant step.
If new members are that important,
then the recruiters who sign them up
are important too. Special thanks are
deserved to those who keep your council’s
numbers high. And just how do you
show your appreciation to the ones who
constantly infuse new members into
your council? Make them members in
the “VIP” Club.
The “Very Important Proposers”
Club is a great way to recognize your
recruiters. It stands as a constant
reminder that their work is important,
and that they are important and respected
throughout the Order.
A Knight is automatically entered
into the “VIP” Club once he recruits
two new prospects [provided that
Section 6 of the Membership Document
Form (#100) is completed].
The new “VIP” Club members will
automatically receive a signed certificate
from the supreme knight, and the
VIP Club lapel pin that recognizes him

as a member of the club.
As members of the “VIP”
Club continue to recruit more
Knights, they are automatically
enrolled in the higher levels of the
club. As they attain these levels,
certificates are prepared and forwarded
to the councils for presentation
to the members. Lapel pins
recognizing the recruiter for his
efforts range from the 5-member
level to the 75-member level, and
can be purchased by contacting
the Supreme Council Supply
Department. For the 100-member level
and above, lapel pins are forwarded
directly by the Supreme Council.

motivated individuals and their ability
to interact with others.
Keep your recruiters motivated by
showing them that they are very important.

Did you know that many

www.kofc.org. Click the “For
Officers” icon located at the top
the home page. Click the
“Forms” icon located on the
upper left side, and select forms
from “Council”, “Circle”,
“Assemble”, and “State.” Many
of the forms come with the
option of being filled out and
submitted electronically, making
the Order’s Web site the fastest
source for members to order and
submit their forms.

Recruiter Incentives
For every new or readmitted member
recruited into the Order during this fraternal
year that encompasses our 125th
anniversary, the recruiter will receive
1,000 Recruitment Rewards Points. For
recruiting the most new members
Orderwide between July 1, 2007, and
June 30, 2008, the Orderwide Top
Recruiter will receive a trip to the
126th Supreme Convention in Quebec
City, Quebec, in 2008.
GK Quarterly Incentive!
For councils that recruit five (5) new
members gross
between October 1
and December 31,
2007, the grand
knight of record will
be entered into a
drawing for one of 10
“Business Man’s
Sets.” If the grand
knight qualifies in each of the quarterly
contests during the 125th anniversary
celebration he will be eligible for a
grand prize drawing to be announced in
April of 2008. Each quarterly contest
will be announced in the last week of
the current quarter.
The Fraternal Survey
Councils, assemblies and circles must
complete the 2007 Annual Survey of
Fraternal Activity (#1728) and submit it
to the Supreme Council office by
January 31, 2008. The survey can be
filed electronically by going to the
Order’s Web site at www.kofc.org.
Click on “Member” and then click on
“Forms.” You will also find the survey
report form in the Council Report
Forms Booklet (#1436), and in the
Assembly Report Forms Booklet (#325).
Special Olympics Report
The Knights of Columbus have always
had a close relationship with Special
Olympics. To further track local councils’
involvement, make sure that your
councils complete the Partnership
Profile Report with Special Olympics
(#4584), located in the Council Reports
Form Booklet (#1436) and submit to
the Supreme Council Office by January
31, 2008, with copies to the state
deputy, yourself, and the council’s files.
