Comes now the applicant, ____________________________, pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 312, and
respectfully moves the Court for issuance of a temporary certificate as certified court reporter pending

In support of this request, applicant states and shows the Court the following:
1. Applicant has submitted an application to take the Court Reporter Examination scheduled for

a Kansas Certified Court Reporter currently in practice in Kansas.
3. A temporary certificate is necessary for applicant’s gainful employment, pending results of the
Court Reporter Examination.
4. A certificate from the applicant’s supervising CCR, attesting to the fact of applicant’s
employment and need for a temporary certificate, is attached herewith and made a part of this
application.

NOTE: The nonrefundable filing fee of $50.00 may be paid by check made payable to the Clerk of the Appellate
Courts.
Applicant is required to have a supervising Kansas Certified Court Reporter at all times
during the period covered by the temporary permit.

I hereby certify that I am a Kansas Certified Court Reporter actively engaged in shorthand reporting in
Kansas and agree to supervise and assume personal professional responsibility for the acts of

I understand I have an obligation to notify the Clerk of the Supreme Court in writing should my
