2012 Service <strong>to</strong> Humanity Gala<br />
Join us September 29 at this year’s Service <strong>to</strong> Humanity Gala<br />
The United Hospital Foundation’s Gala will<br />
bring <strong>to</strong>ge<strong>the</strong>r more than 1,500 people at<br />
<strong>the</strong> Saint Paul RiverCentre <strong>to</strong> raise funds<br />
that benefit United Hospital and <strong>the</strong> St. Paul<br />
community.<br />
This fabulous evening includes a signature<br />
martini reception, silent and live auctions,<br />
gourmet dinner, car raffle, awards ceremony<br />
and dancing <strong>to</strong> music by <strong>the</strong> legendary music<br />
group, <strong>the</strong> Seville’s.<br />

• Art or Theater (tickets <strong>to</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Ordway, Minnesota<br />
Orchestra, paintings)<br />
• Dinning/Catering Events or<br />

electric cars or o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>to</strong>ys)<br />
Since 2003, <strong>the</strong> Gala has raised more than<br />
$10 million <strong>to</strong> benefit <strong>the</strong>se programs at<br />
United: <strong>the</strong> Nasseff Neuroscience Center;<br />
<strong>the</strong> Peter J. King Family <strong>Health</strong> Center; <strong>the</strong><br />
Peter J. King Emergency Care Center; and<br />
<strong>the</strong> Elaine S. Larson Surgical Center. This<br />
year’s proceeds will benefit <strong>the</strong> surgical<br />
center expansion campaign. The gala ranks<br />
seventh out of 25 metro area fundraising<br />
events in gross revenue.<br />
Your help is needed with <strong>the</strong> live and silent auction<br />
Every year more than 600 items are donated <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> live and silent auction by individual<br />
donors, corporations and local businesses. If you are interested in donating or soliciting<br />
items for <strong>the</strong> silent auction, review <strong>the</strong> categories below for examples of auction items.<br />
