bank of the Amudarya (Oxus) river-one of the two main rivers of central Asia<br />
and for lunch in a local teahouse for lunch. Arrival to Bukhara. Check-in in<br />
the hotel. Free time. Dinner. Night in Bukhara.<br />
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day city tour: Samanids mausoleum (IX-Xth cc),<br />
Chashma Ayub Mazar (graveyard) (XIV-XIX), Poi-Kalan complex (XII-XVI<br />
c.), Ulugbek madrassah (1417) (built by grandson of Tamerlane - Ulugbek -<br />
distinguished mathematician and astronomer) and Abdulazizkhan<br />
madrassah (XVII cc), Lyabi-Hauz complex (XVI-XVII c.); Lunch in the<br />
restaurant. Nadir Divanbegi Madrassah, built in 1630, Ark - ancient fortress<br />
(IV-XX cc.); trading domes: Toki-Zargaron, Toki Telpakfurushon, Toki-<br />
Sarrofon. Dinner in Nadir Devanbegi Madrasah with a folklore show. Night<br />
in Bukhara.<br />
Breakfast in the hotel.Morning drive to Shahr-I-Sabz, Amir Timur’s<br />
birthplace and his second capital. Lunch in Shakhrisabz. After lunch You<br />
visit the remains of Amir Timur’s colossal Summer Palace Aksaray (XIVcc),<br />
the blue domed mosque-Kuk Gumbaz (15th century), mausoleum of<br />
Mukhammad Jahangir. Continue the drive to legendary city of Samarkand.<br />

to Tamerlane's tomb-Gur Emir (XIV cc), mausoleum Rukhabad (XIV cc),the<br />
magnificent Registan Square, the noblest square in Central Asia, which<br />
consists of Ulugbek madrassah, Sherdor madrassah and Tillakori<br />
madrassah.Lunch. Continue the city tour: Ulugbek observatory (XV cc), the<br />
mausoleum of Prophet Daniil (XIV-XX cc), the Afrosiyab Museum and the<br />
beautiful 14th century mausoleum complex of Shah-I-Zinda. You finish the<br />
tour at the beautifully decorated Bibi Khanym or Friday Mosque and old<br />
local bazaar. Dinner at a local restaurant. Night in Samarkand.<br />
