POLYPROPYLENE TUBING
MATERIAL
• Polypropylene
APPLICATIONS
• Automation, control, instrumentation lines, and pneumatic accessories.
• Process lines for gases, chemicals, solvents.
• Low pressure hydraulic lines.
FEATURES
• Operating temperature range: -18 °C to 79 °C.
• Working pressure: see tables (recommended working factor: 4-1).
• Good chemical compatibility.
• Excellent corrosion resistance. In some applications can be used with a greater range of liquids and gases than
Nylon or polyethylene.
• Has high surface hardness and elasticity, which provide good abrasion resistance.
• Not subject to environmental stress cracking.
• Has dimensional stability and low diametrical expansion.
• Excellent resistance to hot water and hot corrosive acids.
• Water absorption is less than 0.01%. Extremely low absorption of mineral and vegetable oils.
