DETROITFLUID POWERVD - Flux *Piston Type Universal Flow Distribution Valve* PATENT PI 9702874-6 JUNE 2, 1997The Piston Type Universal Flow Distribution Valve (VD-Flux*) has been developed and designed for steam flow or condensatecontrol in purge stations.On installation of bleeding points in steam lines, it allows:1) Flooding test. Discharge to the atmosphere before the steam trap (upstream)2) Leakage test. Discharge to the atmosphere after the steam trap (downstream)3) Steam trap isolation for maintenance and / or replacement.4) Normal operation.
