E. Campus Support for Community Service Schools were asked to provide information on the manner in which their campuses supported student involvement in community service. 58% of schools indicated that their institution provides a formal process for students to reflect on or evaluate their experiences with community service. As shown below, respondents are reporting either stable or increasing support for student involvement in community service. Results indicate student efforts being supported by faculty and administration has increased substantially from last year (69% to 80%, an increase of 79% from 2002). This is also the case with increased numbers of service awards being offered to students (60% to 72%) and service being considered in scholarships process (47% to 58%).
