Course Overview<br />

This course will focus on practical aspects of manag<strong>in</strong>g<br />

dilemmas <strong>in</strong> endoscopic practice and will provide guidance on<br />

manag<strong>in</strong>g both technical, as well as cognitive challenges faced<br />

dur<strong>in</strong>g endoscopic practice. Each section will comb<strong>in</strong>e didactic<br />

presentations with pane debates about optimal approaches to<br />

diagnosis and management of the topic under discussion. A<br />

lunchtime case- and video-based <strong>for</strong>um will illustrate several<br />

of these approaches. The faculty will <strong>in</strong>clude prom<strong>in</strong>ent, active<br />

practitioners from both academic and private sett<strong>in</strong>gs.<br />

Intended Audience<br />

This course has been specifically<br />

designed <strong>for</strong> practitioners <strong>in</strong><br />

gastro<strong>in</strong>test<strong>in</strong>al endoscopy, especially<br />

gastroenterologists, gastro<strong>in</strong>test<strong>in</strong>al<br />

surgeons, gastro<strong>in</strong>test<strong>in</strong>al nurses and<br />

fellows <strong>in</strong> tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g. This course is<br />
