The International Ceramics Fair & Seminar:
The fair, founded in 1982 by Brian and Anna Haughton, is one of the world’s most enduring and highly regarded specialist
fairs and throughout its existence has consistently brought together leading ceramic specialists, whether dealers or
academics, in a setting that successfully combines the commercial and academic. Ideally suited to institutional and private
buyers, it presents the perfect opportunity to purchase from a second-to-none selection of fine 15 th century to contemporary
British and Continental pottery, porcelain and glass. All items on view have been strictly vetted for quality and authenticity.
Prices start from as little as £100.
This fair’s importance to the art and antiques market cannot be underestimated says Meredith Chilton, Founding Curator of
The Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art in Toronto: “The International Ceramics Fair & Seminar in June is quite simply the best
week of the year. Organisers Brian and Anna Haughton have achieved something extraordinary: a vital forum that is the
lodestone of the ceramics community. . . (an) irresistible combination of accessible objects of the highest calibre and the very
latest scholarship.”
