Other topics under discussion this year in the lecture programme include the Taxa report created by J.J. Kaendler for Meissen
between 1739 and 1746, in which he listed his porcelain models. The distinguished academic and collector Professor Dr
Johannes Rafael is the lecturer. In addition, Reino Liefkes, Senior Curator, Ceramics and Glass, at the Victoria and Albert
Museum talks about the new ceramics galleries at the museum and Dr Ekaterina Khmelnitskaya, Curator of Russian
porcelain, The State Hermitage Museum, St Petersburg, Russia, examines Russian Imperial porcelain in the Winter Palace
during the reign of Tsar Nicholas I (1825-1855).
