• AuDA and InternetNZ named AustLII as the Winner of the Best Openness Initiative in the
2009 inaugural Australian and New Zealand Internet Best Practice Awards and as
Runner-Up in the same category in 2010.
• For the third year in a row, AustLII also won the Hitwise Award for being the number one
website in the Business and Finance - Legal Industry category based on market share of
Australian Internet visits during 2010.
• Co-Director Professor Graham Greenleaf was made a Member of the Order of Australia
(AM) for his contributions to free access to legal information, and the protection of
privacy.
