Chapter Hotels is launching a new range of REN treatments and products in their spas. The
Montpellier Chapter in Cheltenham is offering its new menu as of today (21 May) while the new
property The Magdalen Chapter, opening on 25 June in Exeter, will offer the range later this
summer.
Chapter Hotels chose the Devon based skincare company for its focus on natural, effective and
luxurious products. The bespoke treatments are tailored towards each client’s needs. The special
REN Synergy Massage System offers a ‘work out’ for the face, boosting the natural process of
protection and repair for beautiful, flawless skin. REN body treatments include ancestral traditions of
Japanese acupressure, Swedish and Indian massage, with Egyptian reflexology techniques to release
muscular tensions, stimulate micro‐circulation and lymph, helping the body return to it’s natural
state of balance.
Signature treatments at the Chapter Hotel spas include the 30-minute re-energising Chapter Express
Facial, while for total indulgence the Moroccan Rose Ritual offers 150 minutes of bespoke facial and
body treatments to relieve stress, uplift and soothe.

Owned by Swire Hotels, each Chapter Hotel is locally inspired, providing outstanding design,
service, art, technology and dining, at an affordable rate. The first hotel, The Montpellier Chapter,
opened in November 2010 in Cheltenham, with four spa treatment rooms, two of which double,
clad in oak and following a curved design to create the sensation of a cocoon. A relaxation room
and a steam bath complement the spa experience.

The second hotel in the collection - The Magdalen Chapter opens on 25 June 2012 in Exeter. The
spa will offer four treatment rooms and a separate ‘inside-out’ pool in its private walled garden,
allowing guests to swim from the cool Devonshire breeze through to the warmth of the indoor
section with its very own fireplace.
Rates at The Montpellier Chapter start from £140 per night on a bed and breakfast basis, and from
£150 per night at The Magdalen Chapter. Spa days are available at both hotels, for guests and day
