A 16.2 hand refined daughter of Samarant, this brilliant
4 year old mare is a German Oldenburg Verband Elite
Auction Quality mare however she is American bred.
Her granddam is the well known mare Balalaika who
was Grand Champion of the breeding division of
Dressage at Devon (the first mare to beat all the
stallions. Yippi!) who also went back a few years later
with her amateur rider / owner to beat all of the top
professionals to become overall 4th level Champion at
Dressage at Devon. Seranade is classically and
correctly started, taking her first steps confidently
toward the highest levels of the sport in the big arena.
Already qualified for the 4 year old Young Horse
Championships at her second show even though she
was only started in February of 2010! Scores have
been consistently in the 7.5 range with the judges
comments "brilliant mare, she just needs a little more
experience to get that additional to move her scores
consistently in the 8's". Super comfortable, she is an
amazing talent with 3 excellent gaits with lots of power
and sit already. Hacks out alone or in company. Also
free jumps quite well. This is a top selection for a
professional or serious amateur. She sells with x-rays
of front feet, hocks and stifles - all clean. Recent
flexions also are good with a written report from her
