She is a daughter of the great stallion Epikur, also imported and currently owned and ridden by Amy Swerdlin of Florida. Evita completed her 30 day test at Marbach in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany with an above average score of 7.19. She has produced two beautiful foals, one from Rosario and one from San Amour, both of which retain striking traits of their sires, an absolute outstanding mare. She is not limited to being just a broodmare she would love to continue her career in showing. Evita comes from an outstanding bloodline, with no holes in her pedigree. Her sire Epikur comes from Espri which has produced great jumping and dressage horses and was Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 1995. Epikur whom was ridden by Martin Schaudt competed at the international dressage level. Another great offspring was Elvis an Olympic Gold medalist, ridden by Nadine Capellman. On Evita’s dam side, her mother Weihe scored an 8.89 on her 30 days test at Marbach. Weihe is the dam of Kelly Klein’s hunter Oz, who was Champion or Reserve at the Hampton Classic, WEF, Middleburg Classic, Wellington Classic, and more. She is by the great sire Werther, the first Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 1992. 14 ROSEN ZAUBER Consigned by: Gigi Chiandussi Maro Farms Wurtternberger WITH PAPERS HLM #DE 473730265408 This beautiful filly Rosen Zauber is from the sire Rosario, a Premium Oldenburg stallion for his licensing in Vetchta, a 1999 black, approved GOV, 17 hand Hanoverian from the performance line of Rudina and Rubinstein I (Westphalian); Castro (Holsteiner); and Luxus (Hanovarian), Rosario has won the Oldenburger State Championship 3 times in a row. He won the Bronze in 2002 and the Silver in 2003 during the Bundeschampionships. He has also finished 3rd in the final qualification at the Young Horse World Championship and as of 2007 was established as an S level Dressage horse in Europe. He continues his career in Great Britain and has six sons that have been licensed. The dam, Evita, comes from the oldest state stable in Germany. Her line is from Epikur and other great German sires such as Werther and Weltmeyer. Rosenzauber is a late two year old chestnut filly born June 20, 2008. She is a beautiful mover with grace and attitude. Seemingly floating above the arena as she trots on the lounge line with balance and poise. Her mother, Evita, who is also for sale, was sired by Epikur, an outstanding dressage horse that was shown at the international level. Rosenzauber’s combination of traits from her sire and grandsire make her a very interesting prospect for the demanding dressage rider and a great investment.
