Annual Appeal 2012<br />
<strong>Unity</strong> is how health care should be—because of you. Each day we strive to<br />
deliver the best care to our patients and residents. Your support is crucial to the<br />
every day operation of our many programs and services. Thank you for making our<br />

Our <strong>Health</strong>Reach <strong>Health</strong> Care for<br />
the Homeless Program was able<br />
to purchase a new Mobile Medical<br />
Unit to better assist those in need.<br />

Since January, over $36,300 in<br />
scholarships and grants were<br />
awarded for the continued nursing<br />
education of <strong>Unity</strong> clinical staff, local<br />
college nursing students, and clinical<br />
interns at <strong>Unity</strong> Hospital.<br />

$10,434 of medication and services were<br />
provided for under-insured oncology<br />
patients since January.<br />
Cardiac Rehab patients were able to<br />
receive financial assistance for their<br />
co-pays, allowing them to continue<br />
much-needed physical therapy.<br />
