Located in beautiful downtown <strong>Lancaster</strong>, enjoy America’s oldest farmer’s market, open since the 1730s. Enjoy locally grown<br />

foods, flowers, meats, cheeses, craft s and always friendly conversation! Allow 1-2 hours<br />

Attraction | Buggy Ride<br />

Buggy Rides are a great way to learn about the Amish. Friendly drivers will enlighten and entertain your group with stories and<br />

information about the Amish. Allow between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours<br />

Shopping | Kitchen Kettle Village and Intercourse Canning Company<br />

The village of 42 shops and restaurants, <strong>Lancaster</strong> <strong>County</strong>’s “world famous” canning kitchen offers your group fun ways to<br />

experience our simple pleasures. Intercourse Canning Company features specialty coffee and teas, a free overview into the<br />

canning kitchen and optional “Tasting Parties”. Allow 1.5 – 3 hours<br />

Activity | Amish V.I.P Tour (Visit in Person)<br />

The first tour to be designated a “Heritage Tour” by the <strong>County</strong> of <strong>Lancaster</strong>, you will visit an operating Amish dairy farm, travel<br />

the scenic back roads to an Amish home for a private presentation and Q&A session. Meet an Amish school teacher who will<br />

fascinate you with her stories of teaching eight grades in one room. Allow 3 hours<br />

12 acre village offering an authentic look at Amish life. Guided tour of 1840 Amish Farmhouse, Village Store, Smokehouse<br />

Market, Blacksmith Shop, One-Room Schoolhouse with real Amish teacher. Allow 1-2 hours<br />

Lunch | PA Dutch Restaurant<br />

Good food and Plenty of it! Local cooks that create traditional <strong>Lancaster</strong> <strong>County</strong> PA Dutch favorites. “Down home” dining with<br />

Located on an authentic working Amish dairy farm, enjoy homemade rootbeer as well as other homemade items like potato<br />

Shop on an Amish farm; watch us make handcrafted furniture, be sure to try our homemade ice cream! Don’t miss the 20<br />

Dinner | Dine on an Amish Farm<br />

Get glimpse of life on a real working Amish Farm as you dine with the family inside their home. Questions and interaction<br />

A store with a great selection of fabrics, making it a pleasure to shop. Many quilt fabrics, a mix of contemporary and traditional,<br />

Our heirloom quality quilts, painstakingly hand crafted by local plain folk women, offer a sense of history in their intricate<br />

designs and vibrant colors. Allow 1 hour<br />

Shopping | Riehl’s Quilts and Crafts<br />

Family owned and operated, featuring over 200 hand-made quilts plus quillows, pillows, potholders, handbags, pictures,<br />

At Hershey Farm Restaurant’s Signature Baked Goods Demo, your group will be guided by trained cooks to create shoofly<br />

Tasting Parties | Intercourse Canning Company<br />

Tasting parties at the Cannery feature a larger spread of samples to share and enjoy such as pickled vegetables, jams,<br />

Visit with the Chocolatier | Hershey’s Chocolate World<br />

Learn the art of chocolate tasting as a Chocolatier guides your group through an interactive discussion on chocolate lore. Then<br />

Activity | The Turkey Hill Experience<br />
