WITH THE NEW
RANGER GRIP FISCHER
ONCE AGAIN DEMONSTRATES
SPECIAL COMPETENCE
IN BACKCOUNTRY.
Experienced mountain guides advise people not to use hand straps as
the poles drag the skier dangerously down the hill if caught in an avalanche.
On the other hand, however, the straps play an essential role in power
transfer. With the new Ranger grip with Ergo Power Support Fischer has
developed a solution without straps that ensures appropriate power transfer
when climbing.
HAND SUPPORTS FOR MORE POWER
The ergonomic support surfaces for the heel of the hand guarantee efficient
power transfer. This is made possible by a special design for right and left.
This means that the pole can be gripped more loosely by the hand and
forward thrust is guaranteed when climbing and pushing off. A 3-D welded
EVA hand strap that can be additionally mounted and used on-piste.
EXTREMELY LIGHT AND FLEXIBLE
The extremely light Hollow Core Grip construction saves a considerable
amount of weight. And the new Flexlite basket saves an additional 10 grams
where it is most important thanks to its Flex Injection Construction. The flexible
straps are injected direct into the plastic instead of being connected with
rivets, which is the normal way. This means outstanding freedom of movement
for optimum adjustment to the terrain and a reduction in swing weight for
perfect pole balance.
