The V40 Multi System is a unique visor
system designed to be combined with
either a passive or an active hearing protector,
or even a hearing protector with
integrated communication or FM radio.
A practical and convenient solution for
people who must protect their face and
hearing but who do not need to wear a
helmet.

Multi System is simple to fit to any Peltor
hearing protector featuring a headband,
and it is naturally CE-marked.
A more effective face-mask
The Peltor V40 Multi System protects
the face effectively from splashes. The
various visors, which are available with
either a mesh or clear front, are all angled
towards the chin and pulled back
towards the ears to reduce the risk of
objects striking the face from the front
or side. A forehead shield prevents objects
from penetrating from above.
Better vision
The Peltor V40 Multi System features a
protective peak which shields the eyes.
The effect is the same as shading
your eyes with your hand in strong sunlight;
the pupils expand and thus improve
your vision.
The peak also reduces the risk of
rainwater, snow or dust sticking to the
visor and impairing vision.
“Flip-up” function – simplicity itself
With Peltor’s two-stage “flip-up” function,
it is quick and easy to push the visor
up or down as needed – thus improving
safety and user-friendliness.

Visors for most needs
Extremely impact-resistant visor – V40F
Light penetration is a generous 90 percent, which is better
even than ordinary window-glass. The material is high-quality
polycarbonate, which offers immense resistance to impacts
and scratching in the temperature range from -40°C to
+130°C. The visor has an extra UV barrier for longer life, and
it offers excellent resistance to acids and organic salts. It also
offers protection from electric arcs in the event of flashover.
Weight 120 grams.
Clear visor, double-sided anti-fog coating – V40D
Made of cellulose acetate, a material which offers excellent
resistance to chemicals. Its material properties are retained in
the temperature range from -40°C to +100°C. The visor offers
excellent optical properties and is anti-fog treated. This
means that the Peltor V40D does not mist up on either side of
the visor – ensuring maximum visibility. Weight 120 grams.
Clear visor with light filter – V40E
For working environments which require a permanent light
filter. Light reduction of 70% through a green filter. It is made
of extremely impact-resistant and scratch-resistant polycarbonate,
which offers excellent material characteristics in the
temperature range from -40°C to +130°C.
The visor is UV-stabilised for long life and it offers high
resistance to acids and organic salts. Weight 120 grams.
No protruding parts
The Peltor V40 Multi System
is shaped to follow the
contours of the face, and has
no protruding parts.
This reduces the risk of
fastening in anything, increasing
both safety and comfort.
Unique “Clear View” mesh visor – V40C
Made of high-quality, matt-finished stainless steel. The mesh
visor has a uniquely low light reduction factor, just 25%,
thanks to our in-house developed rectangular mesh design
measuring 1.8 x 2.5 mm.
The mesh, which is made of stainless steel, has a wire diameter
of 0.24 mm, providing excellent protection against penetration
of narrow shavings etc., and it is of an extremely
robust design, offering functional stability even after long use.

Mesh visor, steel mesh – V40A
Made of matt-finish steel with a mesh size of 1.8 x 1.8 mm
and a wire diameter of 0.3 mm. Its design combines strength
with stability. A visor built to handle rough treatment. Weight
100 grams.
Mesh visor, polyamide mesh – V40B
The Peltor V40B is made of matt-black polyamide, a material
which makes the visor very lightweight indeed. Furthermore,
this material does not conduct current, an essential property
in certain operating conditions.
The mesh, which is a full-face unit, has a mesh size of 1.0
x 1.0 mm and a wire diameter of 0.3 mm. Weight 90 grams.
Simple installation
and replacement
The Peltor V40 Multi System
simply clips into place
on the headband.
And with its clever threepoint
attachment, visor replacement
is equally convenient.
The clear visor is approved as per EN 166:1995, EN 172:1995 and the requirement for protection against high-speed particle penetration – low-energy. The mesh visor
is approved according to prEN 1731:1995.

penetrating from above.
Simple installation. Clips conveniently
into place on the hearing
protector’s headband.
Shade from the peak. Improves visibility
and reduces the likelihood of rainwater or
dirt sticking to the visor.
Flip-up. A function which makes it
easy to flip the visor up or down
quickly and simply.
Effective protection. The visor is
angled towards the chin and is
drawn well back towards the ears,
protecting the face effectively from
splashing.
