The Board of Medical Examiners is com
posed of seven members, elected on the second
day in the general meeting, for a term of six
years. The next election will be held Wednes
day during the 1920 meeting. The Board holds
examinations beginning Tuesday of the week
preceding the date of the annual meeting of
the Society. For 1915 the meeting will be in
Greensboro, beginning June Sth.

The legislative and business body of the Society
is composed of the officers of the Society
and the delegates. The officers are the president,
the three vice-presidents, the secretary,
the treasurer and the ten councillors. Each
county society which has paid its dues is entitled
to one delegate. The large county societies
are entitled to one delegate for every
twenty-five members in good standing or major
fraction thereof. That is, thirty-eight paid
members entitles a society to two delegates,
and sixty-three members to three delegates.
An alternate for each delegate should be
elected to serve in the event the delegate
elected is absent. No delegate can be seated
who has not remitted his dues through the
secretary of his county society. The term of
office for delegates is two years. No delegate
is eligible to the office of president, vice-president,
secretary or treasurer.
Sec. 14. The House of Delegates shall present
a summary of its proceedings to the last
general meeting of each annual session, and
shall publish the same in the Transactions.
