SHORT TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited directly from IRDA registered and reputed insurance companies
having their office at Bhopal for insurance coverage of non hazardous commodities (Wheat) to be
stored in open space under cap storage facilities in different locations, as laid down by the
Government during the year 2013-14. Coverage sought for the period of one year on declaration
basis. Sum insured is approx. 7.00 lakh metric tons Wheat valuing Rs. 1192 Crores. Rate should
be submitted in prescribed format which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned on
any working days up to 3.5.2013 or can be down loaded from our website "www
mpmarkfed.net". The tender shall be received up to 3.00 P.M. on 3.5.2013 and will be opened
on the same day at 3.30 P.M. in the presence of the bidders. If the above date may be declared
as holiday, the tender process will be done on next day in the same time. MARKFED reserves the
right to accept/reject any or all tenders without assigning reasons thereof. If required,
negotiations will be done with the parties.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF INSURANCE COVERAGE RATES FOR CAP
STORAGE FOR THE YEAR 2013-14
The bidders shall be bound by following terms and conditions while submitting their rates:
1 The rate of premium should be quoted to the norms prescribed by the IRDA/TAC only for
warehousing purpose
2 The rate shall be quoted in the enclosed format offers in any other format shall be liable
for rejection.
3 The bidders shall enclose Authority Letter from their Zonal/Regional Office authorizing
bidder/branch to participate in the tender. This is with the view to avoid multiplicity of
rates from the branches of the Insurance Companies
4 Tender from the Bhopal based General Insurance Companies only shall be accepted.
5 No intermediary such as broker/corporate agent/agent/sub agent are allowed in the
tender
6 The estimated sum insured under various perils are as follows:
Stock of non hazardous commodities (Wheat) approx. Rs. 1192 Crores
7 The stocks to be stored in various locations at Jabalpur, Indore, Rewa, Bhopal and
Gwalior Revenue Divisions or any other locations in the State. The above mentioned
sum insured may vary subject to the requirement of MARKFED.
8 The bidder shall make firm tender rates based on the tariff prevailing currently. No
changes in the rate offered by the Bidder shall be accepted. Rate shall be rounded to 4
digits after decimal more than four digits shall be ignored
9 MARKFED reserve the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any
reason thereof
