This will confirm my recent',<strong>visit</strong> with you on<br />
August 28, 1956,<br />
At <strong>the</strong> time of MY <strong>visit</strong> your facilities, equipment<br />
and radiological protection practices appeared <strong>to</strong><br />
be satisfac<strong>to</strong>ry for <strong>the</strong> types and quantitiea of<br />
radiolso<strong>to</strong>pee you are using. We <strong>the</strong>refore do not<br />
have any specific recommendations <strong>to</strong> make at this<br />
time.<br />
In regard <strong>to</strong> your questions concerning a broad<br />
license, I am enclosing a partially completed sample<br />
Form AEC-313 for your guidance. Item 8, "Maximum<br />
amount of radioactivity in millicuries that you will<br />
possess at any one tim," should reflect your<br />
anticipated needs for each byproduct material between<br />
A<strong>to</strong>mic No. 3 and 83, inclusive, for a 24 month<br />
period.<br />
A general possession limitshould be established for<br />
your normal needs and a higher possession limit. can<br />
be requested for special radioiso<strong>to</strong>pes. An over-all<br />
<strong>to</strong>tal possession limit at any one time for all<br />
byproduct material should 1e estimated. Any waste<br />
materials s<strong>to</strong>red on your property should be iscluded .:<br />
in this estimated possession limlt.,<br />
