Congregation B’nai Amoona Bulletin
Welcome to the wonderful world of Camp Ramot Amoona, the place where
Judaism comes to life through a variety of activities. We create a positive
environment that challenges the body, enriches the mind and releases the
Jewish spirit. Campers return again and again to Ramot Amoona because of
its dynamic and diverse programming. We truly have something for everyone!
We know that families are looking for a great summer experience that meets
the needs of summer childcare and enrichment while also accommodating for
family vacations. You can pick sessions that work for your family’s summer
experiences: Choose: a two, four, six or an eight week summer session.
We have the awesome responsibility of creating a community of friends who
will journey together to create life long memories. Our camp theme this year, “You and I will change the world!”,
will give us the opportunity to teach about our obligations concerning community, Tikun Olam “repairing the
world”, care of animals, people who might seem different and bullying.
Camp Orientation is Sunday, June 10 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The magic begins on June 11, the first day of camp at
9:15am. Camp ends at 3:15pm Monday through Friday. We also offer extended day opportunities for those who
need it.
Camp Ramot Amoona is a summer experience that gives our campers the opportunity to live Judaism and make
great friends. Please don’t hesitate to contact us in the Camp Office. I can’t wait to welcome all of our campers for
a wonderful and exciting summer!
My name is Paige Krug and I am an active member of BAUSY, B’nai Amoona’s USY chapter.
This summer I am going on the 5 ½ week Israel/Poland excursion, otherwise know as USY
Pilgrimage. I have been dreaming about going on this trip since I was little, after hearing
about it from my dad and cousins. I feel so privileged that I get to experience two of the most
amazing places in the world with my Jewish friends and community.
There are two departure dates and space is still available on both. It is open to all 10 th - 12 th graders. This is a once in
a lifetime experience and I would love it if your son, daughter, grandchild, niece or nephew would join me on this
fantastic adventure.
There are many other USY summer program opportunities, in the U.S. and abroad. My sister,
Rachel and her friends are going on USY on Wheels, East, a four week bus adventure, up and
down the east coast.
For more information and to sign up, please visit the USY website at:
