<strong>Congregation</strong> B’nai <strong>Amoona</strong> <strong>Bulletin</strong><br />

Welcome to the wonderful world of Camp Ramot <strong>Amoona</strong>, the place where<br />

Judaism comes to life through a variety of activities. We create a positive<br />

environment that challenges the body, enriches the mind and releases the<br />

Jewish spirit. Campers return again and again to Ramot <strong>Amoona</strong> because of<br />

its dynamic and diverse programming. We truly have something for everyone!<br />

We know that families are looking for a great summer experience that meets<br />

the needs of summer childcare and enrichment while also accommodating for<br />

family vacations. You can pick sessions that work for your family’s summer<br />

experiences: Choose: a two, four, six or an eight week summer session.<br />

We have the awesome responsibility of creating a community of friends who<br />

will journey together to create life long memories. Our camp theme this year, “You and I will change the world!”,<br />

will give us the opportunity to teach about our obligations concerning community, Tikun Olam “repairing the<br />

world”, care of animals, people who might seem different and bullying.<br />

Camp Orientation is Sunday, June 10 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. The magic begins on June 11, the first day of camp at<br />

9:15am. Camp ends at 3:15pm Monday through Friday. We also offer extended day opportunities for those who<br />

need it.<br />

Camp Ramot <strong>Amoona</strong> is a summer experience that gives our campers the opportunity to live Judaism and make<br />

great friends. Please don’t hesitate to contact us in the Camp Office. I can’t wait to welcome all of our campers for<br />

a wonderful and exciting summer!<br />

My name is Paige Krug and I am an active member of BAUSY, B’nai <strong>Amoona</strong>’s USY chapter.<br />

This summer I am going on the 5 ½ week Israel/Poland excursion, otherwise know as USY<br />

Pilgrimage. I have been dreaming about going on this trip since I was little, after hearing<br />

about it from my dad and cousins. I feel so privileged that I get to experience two of the most<br />

amazing places in the world with my Jewish friends and community.<br />

There are two departure dates and space is still available on both. It is open to all 10 th - 12 th graders. This is a once in<br />

a lifetime experience and I would love it if your son, daughter, grandchild, niece or nephew would join me on this<br />

fantastic adventure.<br />

There are many other USY summer program opportunities, in the U.S. and abroad. My sister,<br />

Rachel and her friends are going on USY on Wheels, East, a four week bus adventure, up and<br />

down the east coast.<br />
