In 2007, the Frangipanni and Torch Ginger<br />
were beautifully illustrated and featured,<br />
while in 2009, to make the Definitives series<br />
more varied, the Blue Pea Vine (Clitoria<br />
ternatea) and the Pigeon Orchid (Dendrobium<br />
crumenatum) were added.<br />
This year, to emphasize that <strong>Singapore</strong> is a<br />
bustling metropolis nestled in a lush mantle<br />
of tropical greenery, another two flowering<br />
plants – the Simpoh Air (Dillenia suffruticosa)<br />
and <strong>Singapore</strong> Rhododendron (Melastoma<br />
malabathricum), are featured.<br />
