New Hampshire Motor Speedway is the largest sports and
entertainment facility in New England and will host the three biggest
sporting events in the six-state region as part of its exciting 2011
racing schedule.
Located approximately one hour north of Boston, the speedway hosts
more than 100,000 spectators at each of its two prestigious NASCAR
Sprint Cup Series races. Our NASCAR event weekends draw larger
crowds than the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals, the World Series and
the NCAA Final Four events. The facility is active every day from
April through October and attracts more than 500,000 guests during
the season.
New for 2011, the IZOD IndyCar Series is back after a 13-year
absence! This “New Breed of Speed” will showcase the cars and
stars of the Indianapolis 500 with close wheel-to-wheel action and
speeds topping 200 mph.
The speedway features a wide variety of racing sanctioned by
NASCAR and is equally as proud of the grassroots racing programs
run on the 1.6-mile road course highlighted throughout this brochure.

for the Sprint Cup Series LENOX Industrial Tools
301. Expect a heated battle as the NASCAR stars go
“the extra mile” on a NEW DATE, Sunday, July 17.
The Nationwide Series, the K&N Pro Series East and
the Whelen Modified Tour will once again pack the
track in what is expected to be a full season of speed.
NASCAR’s 2011 Race to the Chase, the final 10-race
drive to be eligible for the Sprint Cup championship,
will once again come to New England during the

Motor Speedway on Sunday, August 14 for their only
New England appearance.
At speeds of 200 mph, some of the most fearless
drivers in the world will bring heart-stopping, wheelto-wheel
racing back to New England. Join 2010 Indy
500 winner and series champion Dario Franchitti,
Danica Patrick and Helio Castroneves as they battle
on the 1.058-mile oval!

September 22-25
The cars and stars of NASCAR race their way back
to New England for the SYLVANIA 300 and the
second race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint
Cup on Sunday, September 25.
As part of NASCAR’s 10-race playoffs, this
300-lap event is sure to be pivotal in deciding the
series champion.
Joining NASCAR’s best for an action-packed
weekend of fall racing will be the NASCAR Camping
World Truck Series, K&N Pro Series East, the
mighty Whelen Modified Tour and the American-

Camping
Make the speedway your race-week residence! Fan-friendly
camping is one of the greatest experiences at NHMS. Weeklong
parking is offered for self-contained RVs and campers for
all of the track’s major motorsports events.
A limited number of 20-by-50 foot reserved camper/RV spaces
are available in the S-8 (formerly K Terrace) lot for $300.
A limited amount of Type A camper/RV spaces will be available
also for $150 in all other RV lots. The Type A spaces are 20-
by-40 foot, and are individually marked by orange paint. These
spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The remaining camper/RV spaces will be the same size as
they were last season and are $100 if ordered two weeks prior
to the event.
Tent camping is not allowed and will be strictly enforced.

Pre-Race Pit Passes
Here is your opportunity to get up-close and see what happens
on pit road prior to the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 and the
SYLVANIA 300. Guests will have the opportunity to take part in
the Race Day Town Meeting with top racing personalities.
The NASCAR pre-race pit pass is $100 per person. A
grandstand ticket is not included and may be purchased
separately. Guests must be at least 18 years of age.

Frank Webb’s Bath Center
Once again this year fans can bathe at the ultra modern Frank
Webb Bath Center located outside the infield tunnel. The
bathhouse has 30 shower stalls and 30 toilets, along with a
giant new water reservoir. Fans who decide to spend their
weekend camping on NHMS property can take a few minutes to
freshen up in the most expensive bathroom in New Hampshire.

2011 season at New Hampshire
Motor Speedway. This ultimate
open house allows fans of all
ages to tour “The Magic Mile”
with a behind-the-scenes look
at New England’s largest sports
and entertainment facility.
Race fans can get their picture
taken in victory lane just like
NASCAR’s best, obtain an
autograph from their favorite
local driver and if you have purchased tickets for the 2011 season
already fans can even drive their own personal car around “The
Magic Mile,” just like last year’s NASCAR winners Jimmie Johnson
and Clint Bowyer.
Children of all ages can join New Hampshire’s favorite moose, Milo,
in a “Magic Mile” Easter egg hunt.
The garage area will be packed once again with displays featuring
teams from NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour, the American-
Canadian Tour, the Sports Car Club of America, Corvettes of
Massachusetts, New Hampshire Karting Association, the White
Mountain Chapter of the BMW Club, United States Classic Racing
Association, the Sidecar Racers Association and the Loudon Road
Race Series. The Street Survival advanced driving program and
many of the New Hampshire Motor Speedway sponsors will also be
on hand for this special fan appreciation celebration.
This ultimate fan appreciation day is full of free fun for racing
enthusiasts of all ages.

From Tuesday, May 17, to Sunday, May 22, history will come
alive as legendary racing machines from around the world gather
to compete in the 21st Annual Vintage Racing Celebration.
Beginning Tuesday, May 17, through Thursday, May 19 some
of the world’s best vintage midgets, sprint cars, champ cars,
roadsters and NASCAR stock cars will race on the speedway’s
1.058-mile oval.
America’s Oldest Vintage Racing
Organization
From Friday, May 20, through Sunday, May 22, New Hampshire
Motor Speedway’s tricky 1.6-mile road course will challenge vintage
road racers from around the world. Classic car enthusiasts can
see vintage sports cars, formula cars and motorcycles compete for
bragging rights on the 12- turn NHMS course.
June 17-19
The longest-running motorcycle event in North America returns
to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the 88th running of
the Loudon Classic. During this historic event, two-wheeled
fans can enjoy three days of side-by-side racing from the
professionals of the American SportBike Racing Association; the
experts, amateurs and novices of the Loudon Road Race Series
and the fan-favorite sidecar racers from the Sidecar Racers
Association and the United States Classic Racing Association.
The 1.6-mile road course is famous for a variety of elevation
changes and its challenging 12-turn layout. The legendary
“Bowl” is one of the most exciting turns in road-course racing.
All races will run rain or shine!

Over the years, the Loudon Road
Race Series has developed the
reputation for having some of the
most intense racing on two wheels.
A strong commitment to rider
training and development makes this series one of the most popular
in the United States.
The Loudon Road Race Series will run a six weekend schedule on
New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s 1.6-mile road course. This tricky
12- turn course always produces some of the closest motorcycle
racing in New England.

BMW offers two car clubs throughout the season.
The White Mountain Chapter hosts educational
and fun-filled driving events. With the aid of expert
instructors, you’ll be able to improve your driving
skills and learn how to push your car to the limit in a
safe and fun environment.
The Boston BMW Club offers ways to improve your driving skills.
Beginners are taught driving style (smoothness, consistency, the
ability to read the track); more experienced participants continue
to work on consistency, while developing new skills such as trail
braking, and threshold braking.

Legend Cars International will be part of the
“The Magic Mile’s” 2011 lineup, competing
at many of the track’s major motorsports
events. It will also be featured at seven
Loudon Road Racing Series weekends.
U.S. Legend Cars is the world’s largest manufacturer of spec race
cars. It is the exclusive builder of the Legend Cars, Bandoleros and
Thunder Roadsters.

The Corvettes of Massachusetts Sports
Car Club is one of the oldest active sports
car clubs in the U.S. COM is a general
interest car club that now attracts a diverse
and loyal fan base in the greater northeast
U.S. and Canada. Drivers can drive their
personal car on the speedway’s scenic 1.6-mile road course in a
high-speed driving instruction environment.
The Sports Car Driving Association
provides the high performance driving

thrill of driving in a safe and controlled

The SCDA events are aimed at learning and having fun on the
track. The events are strictly non-competitive and focus on a driver
educational experience.
The New Hampshire Karting
Association is one of the premier
karting series in the nation.
The NHKA Racing Series provides karters the opportunity to race on
the same track that hosts NASCAR, IndyCar and SCCA events.

The Tire Rack Street Survival ® School

These comprehensive sessions give teens the tools and hands-on

with one-on-one instruction available.
A special introductory program is
provided for first time track riders.
Founded by Bruton Smith, Speedway Children’s Charities has
grown from a single fundraising dinner into a national charity
that has distributed millions to local organizations throughout the
United States to improve the quality of life for children in need.
Speedway Children’s Charities has chapters at each of the
Speedway Motorsports, Inc. facilities, including New Hampshire
Motor Speedway.
Each year, the staff of the New Hampshire Motor Speedway
chapter, with support from a team of volunteers, hosts a wide
range of activities and promotions, several of which are held
around major events at the speedway.

The Fishtail Riding School teaches
the basics of riding a motorcycle in
