THE KEY THE GUIDE THE LOCK<br />
Pouch application: Closed, Drainable and Urostomy<br />
1. Remove the protective release paper from the pouch. Avoid touching the<br />
adhesive area. Insert pouch tab into slot on the wafer/baseplate to ensure<br />
correct positioning BEFORE sticking the pouch to the wafer/baseplate.<br />
2. Roll the pouch adhesive area up onto the flange/baseplate.<br />
3. Gently massage over the whole pouch adhesive area.<br />
Give the pouch a gentle tug in a downward direction to check that it is attached<br />
securely.<br />
Filter cover application:<br />
1. Filter cover to be placed over the end of the filter.<br />
2. Have the straight end facing the centre.<br />
3. Fold over to cover filter outlet completely.<br />

Pouch removal:<br />
The green <strong>Key</strong> is to help<br />
Urostomy patients<br />
1. With one hand hold the flange/baseplate and use the pouch tab to pull the<br />
pouch away.<br />
2. Clean the flange/baseplate with water and dry the area thoroughly before<br />
reapplying another pouch.<br />
<strong>For</strong> removal of Urostomy’s using key:<br />
1. Place green key in top of loop on pouch<br />
2. Start to roll the key away from your body to remove the pouch from the base<br />
plate.<br />
