For the first time in the history of gastroenterology,
an international conference will
bring together the forces of four pre-eminent
organisations. The United European Gastroenterology
Federation (UEGF) and the World
Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO), together
with the World Organisation of Digestive
Endoscopy (OMED) and the British Society of
Gastroenterology (BSG), are to jointly organise
this landmark meeting from November 21 to 25,
2009 in London. This collaboration will ensure
the perfect balance of basic science and clinical
practice and will encompass all disciplines in
gastroenterology (endoscopy, digestive oncology,
nutrition, digestive surgery, hepatology,
gastroenterology).
