In 2010 The Firkin Crane will be particularly interested
in supporting projects of a collaborative nature
between artists across art forms.
Multidisciplinary works that aims to push the
boundaries of artists comfort zones and encourage
artistic exchange. We would also encourage
applicants to choose a mentor for their work process.
This programme is supported by the Arts Council.

Irish Modern Dance Theatre Artistic Director John
Scott will hold auditions for our 2010 season on
Saturday 22 August in DanceHouse. We are seeking
male and female dancers and apprentices with a
strong technical base, an open spirit and ability to
improvise. Interested dancers should contact the
office on imdt@iol.ie. A second audition is scheduled
for 05 September in Brussels.
IMDT is also delighted to announce a collaboration
with Adrienne Truscott which will start in 2009 and
continue in 2010. Adrienne is one of NYC’s most
exciting young choreographers, and we look forward
to presenting her European debut. See

development of a major new work with video-artist
Charles Atlas, also to be presented in 2010.
