The Deployable Secure Wireless Network-NIPR (DSWN-NIPR ) provides secure NIPRNET wireless
communication capabilities within a rugged, transportable case. The DSWN-NIPR includes 10 Panasonic
CF-29 Toughbook computers, a 12 port managed hub, custom power distribution, a wireless access point,
and a Fortress Secure Gateway. With the integrated power solution, the laptops can be connected to
power and network connections for recharging and automated updates while in the case.
This mobile, ruggedized, and secure wireless network capability was designed specifically for rapid set-up
and flexible operation and is suitable for all tactical command and control echelons from a Battalion
Tactical Operations Center to the Division Main Command Post. Fully operational within minutes, all
Toughbooks are capable of operating via a wireless connection.

Value Added components
Rugged Case - All components are housed in a rugged and
weatherproof case with sealed external connections for both
115VAC power and Ethernet. Inside, two (2) easily removable
power strips have been installed to allow all Toughbooks to be
charged while in the case. An AF2100 is also embedded within the
case as is a custom antenna mount which provides protection for
all antennae during shipping. The case is custom configured to
provide easy access to all components for quick operational setup.
AF2100 - The Fortress product family provides a robust,
scalable and easy-to-manage line of security gateway solutions
for ensuring privacy of wireless networks and mission-critical
enterprise applications. These FIPS certified security products
provide user privacy, access control, device and user
authentication as well as data link layer integrity to guard
against denial-of-service attacks.
