Associated Student Government/ Information Technology Student (ASG/IT) Advisory Committee Structure The Associated Student Government hereby creates the ASG/IT Student Advisory Committee. This committee, chaired by the Northwestern University Information Technology Director of Technology Support Services, is comprised of Northwestern University Information Technology director of academic technologies; Northwestern University Information Technology manager of student computing; Associated Student Government technology director; and eight students at-large selected by the Associated Student Government academic vice president. There are guidelines include one student each from the School of Education and Social Policy, the McCormick School of Engineering, the Medill School of Journalism, the School of Music, and the School of Speech; and three students from the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, with one each from the hard sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Purpose Advises Northwestern University Information Technology. This committee is a structural mechanism through which to solicit student input on issues to technology. Operating Principles The committee meets once per quarter.
