Transporting gas throughout Wales and <br />

the South West – under rivers through <br />

cities around farms – getting gas to <br />

your door.<br />

on 0800 111 999. We provide the<br />

engineers in a gas emergency 24/7 –<br />

365 days a year.<br />

Covering the whole of Wales<br />

and South West region –<br />

our skilled engineers work<br />

from Anglesey down<br />

to Cornwall.<br />

GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT<br />

PROGRAMME<br />

Starting salary £22k+<br />

1st year<br />

Develop an appreciation of the<br />

industry from a field and office<br />

environment via core placements<br />

2nd year<br />

Build on engineering competencies<br />

and managerial skills through<br />

projects and placements<br />

The programme is unrestrictive and can result<br />

in jobs in all areas of the company, from<br />

assisting with the emergency service to<br />

designing of the gas distribution network.<br />

Professional<br />

Pressure and<br />

Maintenance engineer.<br />

With 1,000s of gas<br />

stations in Wales and the<br />

South West Pressure<br />

Management Engineers keep the<br />

gas moving to millions of users.<br />

Pressure management engineers<br />

have detailed technical and<br />

mechanical knowledge to allow them<br />

to make alterations on site.<br />

Providing a<br />

24 hour response –<br />

engineers have<br />

1-2 hours to report to<br />

gas escapes throughout<br />

Wales and the South West.<br />

EMS engineers also conduct gas<br />

meter work where meters have<br />

failed, require maintenance, or are<br />

due for exchange. The EMS workforce<br />

are dedicated emergency engineers<br />

working where ever when ever to keep<br />

the public safe. Highly trained and with<br />

a vast support network there are EMS<br />

engineers located across the Wales and South<br />

West region. Always on the move and always<br />

in the field EMS engineers are the first on site.<br />

Professional<br />

Electrical and<br />

Instrument engineer.<br />

E&I engineers are<br />

responsible for maintaining<br />

all instrumentation, electrical,<br />

Telemetry and Control systems<br />

on Gas stations. Specialist<br />

training is required as it involves<br />

working with Electrical Apparatus in<br />

Hazardous Areas. With a detailed<br />

understanding of electrical engineering<br />

E&I engineers need to be the most up to<br />

date and have the highest standards of<br />

work as the information taken from site<br />

instruments is used throughout the company.<br />

The role may also involve Project and Design<br />

Installation work.<br />
