The secret is continuous development Arbesko is a leading producer of safety and occupational footwear and we are often first with new materials and technologies. We are also one of the very few to focus on how important the shoes you wear at work are for your life outside of work. The secret behind the innovative design, the exciting materials and the pioneering technical solutions is of course our continuous development work. This is, and always has been, the strongest guiding principle for our company. The results are clear in Arbesko’s proprietary features, such as Energy Gel ® shock absorption, its successor Energy Gel Duo ® and the three different functional soles you can read more about elsewhere in this catalogue. The list is a long one. A host of new solutions are launched for each new generation of footwear – always appreciated, sometimes revolutionary – and here, as in any fashion magazine, our customers see fresh new designs every year. Needless to say, all our development work takes place in close collaboration with product developers, designers and the qualified, highly experienced personnel at our two Swedish production units. We have chosen to keep our production in Sweden since this is where the knowledge about how we want to build our shoes lies, and it is this knowledge that underpins our guarantee of high quality. Asymetrix and Active Plus Soles that fulfil more than one function Look underneath the shoe as well. There is a great deal of science here in the form of well considered cleating and functionality. For instance, the unique combination of lines, cleated patterns and surface structures (which we use in both Asymetrix and Active Plus soles) provides firm slip resistance on both wet and dry surfaces. Asymetrix Nitrile Durable and heat resistant Asymetrix Nitrile is our most hard wearing functional sole. Its durability is virtually unmatched. The sole provides excellent grip on all types of slippery surfaces. And it is unbeatable in extremely hot environments. Asymetrix Nitrile can withstand temperatures of up to 300˚C, but is not only suitable for jobs requiring high heat resistance. Arbesko safety footwear with a nitrile rubber sole is a natural choice for foundries, metal industries, car workshops and many other tough environments. Irregular cleated pattern with different surfaces – adapts to changes in the floor surface. Lines that go in different directions – stopping the sole from slipping in any direction. Lines going in different directions prevent the sole from slipping. Varying cleated patterns and surfaces adapt the shoe to different kinds of floor. Raised sole edge – protects the shoe. Asymmetric heel – spreads the step over a larger area. Nitrile rubber in rear of heel – for secure footing. Turnplate – for fast turning.
