Neurological Surgery — http://www.cornellneurosurgery.org
Weill Cornell Brain Tumor Center — http://www.cornellneurosurgery.org/braintumor
Weill Cornell is an acknowledged leader in innovative surgical techniques that improve survival and preserve
neurological function. Our neurosurgeons specialize in high-risk complex surgery such as a comprehensive
program of intraoperative brain mapping and fMRI in which neurosurgeons and neuropsychologists collaborate
to preserve brain function while safely increasing the extent of surgery; endoscopic surgery using a special
computer chip designed to produce three-dimensional images; a gasket seal closure to achieve watertight closure
of the anterior cranial base after endoscopic intradural surgery; and frameless surgical navigation to ensure
accurate catheter placement during Ommaya reservoir implantation.
