Dear Educator:
Once again, Professional Development experts from ROE #8
(Carroll, Jo Daviess & Stephenson Counties); ROE #47 (Lee
& Ogle Counties); ROE #55 (Whiteside County); and Sterling
offerings for teachers and administrators in Northwest Illinois.
Specifically, the group collaborated to create learning
opportunities that:
1. Address current and relevant topics for all grade levels
such as the Common Core State Standards adoption at
all levels of implementation; technology; and Next Generation
Science Standards; and leadership skills to
name a few.
2. Provide varied times and session lengths to accommodate
summer schedules.
3. Provide a diverse range of credit options including
CPDU’s, graduate credit, administrator credit, and indistrict
credit.
4. Provide a host of geographic locations that are open to
all teachers and administrators across the region.
You can find a complete listing of summer professional
development activities including descriptions and REG-
